Related to this thread, how can I (hopefully) use the same jack the adapter plugs into for another phone? I had to unplug my phone in my computer room so that I could plug in my adapter, now I have nowhere to plug the phone into. Am I out of luck in this room? |

Not completely clear on your question, but:
If you wish to still use your old phone line, you will have to distribute the Voip phone on the wires usually reserved for a second phone line (a tricky bit of wiring)
If you simply want a Voip phone in the office and to distribute phone around the house as well, you'll need a RJ-11 splitter (available from most hardware stores or Radio Shack. Just plug the splitter into the TA and run one wire to your phone and one to the wall jack. |
