I currently have a business account with a main phone (mine) and fax. Another employee has a second number on the same account. The problem is, from what I can tell, is that I can only have one online account to view account activity, billing, features, etc. I would like to set up a second online account for the other employee so that he can view his own activity, modify the feature settings, and use the click-2-call program without having access to the main online account. The main online account also contains the billing information, including credit card information, which the employee should not have access to.

Is there a way to set up another online account which does not contain the billing information? I need to give the employee access to their own phone activity and features without releasing the user/password for the main account.

I have posted 2 emails to support over 3 weeks ago which have never been returned. And I don't feel like waiting 1 1/2 hours on hold trying to speak to someone in person. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

That was an easy answer, but not totally acceptable to me. Any plans in the future to add this? How do other business users allow individuals access to Click-2-Call or other features that require online access without giving them access to the sensitive billing information?

What features in particular? Click2Call can be accessed without logging in. Most features in the Dashboard are service affecting features.

The only way I can see getting around that is to have each line on a different account. You'd still have the exposure of credit info to people in your company that you don't want to see it.

Remember, these companies largely serve residential and not business users. I don't look for Vonage to do much about it. None of the other major Voip players have a better solution that I know of at this point. My experience with AT&T, Voicepulse and Broadvox-Direct all show consolidated billing/control on one user portal login.

You might also check out the Nuvio centrex offer to see how they handle it if this is something about Vonage you decide you can't live with.

I don't think Vonage will be offering a solution any time soon. They have their plate full with growth, E911, etc. Perhaps not letting them on the dashboard is the temporary solution. You could email them their activity instead of giving them free reign.
