Another SB4100 owner here, and I've had no problems with it on Comcast.
There's probably nothing to be gained from switching modems. With the caps that your ISP places on your service, your connection only uses a fraction of the modem's capability. |

I also run an older SB3100 without any packet loss or issues, (Pingplotter used for a 24hr period).
I have have Time Warner cable broad band/Tele-worker package. Results of Vonage's Speed Test:
Download 4,596,240 bps Upload 406,240 bps QOS 68% RTT 56 ms MaxPause 100 ms |
