Laura,

Either ssantana (Steve) or vonagebest -- or both -- will get back to you. They are really good about replying.

But please understand that they do this as a personal favor and out of dedication rather than as part of their jobs. They also get overwhelmed with requests from this forum. I recall that the Admin posted a note a while back saying he had to increase their mailbox sizes, because they kept filling up with requests and the boxes would not accept new messages.

Imagine signing in on your own time -- or even from work-- and finding a full box of PMs (some with complicated problems) each time.

These two guys are super and very responsive. If you haven't heard from them, they are either sleeping or helping someone else who wrote first.

Unfortunately, I have had exactly the same problems as yours for two weeks. I have just received my third router from Vonage. I don't have much hope that the phone will ever work.

I had the exact same problem. The problem was partially resolved by moving the phone adapter (RT31P2) BEHIND the existing router. My phone adapter can connect to the internet when it is directly connected to the cable modem the phone service is inoperable - both phone LED's flash every 15 seconds or so. Also, Vonage cannot can see my phone adapter when it is connected directly to my cable modem even though it can access the internet. It can ever successfully do a tftp to Vonage but the customer service guys still can't see it.

When customer service suggested that I move the phone adapter behind my router (I had my existing router completely disconnected just to make things simple) it worked right away and connected to Vonage.

Using the same connection u had before getting the adaptor just plug the Vonage adaptor into an open slot on your router.
