I am having issues connecting to Vonage from FIOS, On the Lynksys router,s voice status I get the message "Router still restarting. Please wait a moment" Even though I have tried to daisy chained with my other D-Link Router, opened all ports through the Firewall, I connected the Lynksys directly (no other router / DSL modem) using PPPoE to Verizon and still get the message

Any one that can shed some light would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Been using it like more than 3 months now. Just sent in request to Xfer tel number from Verizon to Vonage.

I'm satisfied with reliability of the FIOS network but nowhere near the relaibility of the telephone land line.

I figure if broadband goes down, I have cell phone as backup.

I connect my Vonage Linksys router to Verizon FIOS D-Link, phone works, not a problem.

I have had FIOS for about 3 weeks now. I reconfigured my old Linksys router for PPOE and replaced the supplied D-link-link. Everything works fine. When using the internet with the Comcast connection, the phone calls would break up, even with QoS enabled.

With FIOS, nothing seems to interfere with the quality of the phone call. It is indistinguishable from POTS.

I have Verizon FiOS without POTS...switched over a month ago from Comcast. Vonage was intermittent on Comcast as was my internet service. No problems at all since switching to FiOS -- rock solid.
