Still going strong, and I've got the phones hooked back to Vonage. Keeping my fingers crossed!

For some reason the reboots have stopped, but the QoS at 512 killed my LAN connections whenever we use the telephone. I could not even ping. So I switched it back to 384 and all seems well, except that phone calls are occasionally getting disconnected.

This isn't the same problem I had originally. Now, when the phone call gets dropped, I still have rock-solid network connectivity. I've tried lowering the quality to 30k and besides sounding like garbage, it didn't have any effect. Ideas, anyone?

thats really odd.

I have 1.5 mb dsl and 500 on the up

both pc's are surfing fine at the same time talking.

seems though if you lower that QOS though the router gets really whacked out. I am not using port based or any other QOS and disabled UPNP on both pcs and the router...we dont need it here. A senior tech at Vonage did say the 512 setting is like turning off QOS itself...either way this setting is very stable for me.

I hope ya get this worked out Smile

What is Quality of Service? Is 14% going to give me issues?

I really don't know myself. I have seen other posts here and they also have cable and QOS is turning out at 98%-99%. Something is definitely mucking up your setup...being its pretty basic as mine except I use dsl. I would turn off UPNP on both PCs for one if not needed and then the router. Are you using QOS at all for ports or applications too? If not leave them off. RIP is a useless feature so dont bother with that either, and disable on both PCs and router. Jack voice QOS back to 512 and reboot cable modem and then router and see how you turn out.
