Post subject: Vonage issue
I have been having a ongoing issue of calling my
Vonage
line from my cingular cell and now my work phone started as well.
At first I would call and it would say "user not accpeting calls"...then it went to a disconnect tone like you dialed a disconnected number and hung up. Today I got a busy signal and the tone....my wife was never on the phone again.
Vonage
has been doing tests because I see them on the caller id but I have had no contact after countless emails with the same ticket # updating them.
Someone told me there are some
Vonage
techs that work here. If so I would love to find out the status of what's going on. I refuse to sit on hold for 30+ minutes.

You can also PM them (may get you a faster response). Try ssantana or vonagebest.

My parents tried to call me today and they said that they couldn't dial my
Vonage
number from their cell phone, but my landline (in the same area code) went through no problem. Am I being paranoid or is Cingular being anti-competitive by selectively not dialing
Vonage
numbers?

Is this a system wide problem or is it local? I haven't had any problems such as you describe (and I don't want them). My systems have been working fine without a hitch! It would help if you guys added some info to your displayed profile, but it's your business nevertheless.
