I got the kit at Best Buy in early August and sent in the rebate at that time. Two months ago, I called and asked about my status, only to be told to check the status page at http://www.web-rebates.com/vonage I checked, and saw it was on Step 2, "Check Request Processing." Hasn't moved since. Is this normal, and is there anything I can do to move it along? Only reason I got this at the time was for the rebate.

You should of bought it online using the coupon on this site.

One thing to watch out with these rebate checks is they are often just postcards that are a check. These are very easy to be confused as a piece of junk mail and thrown away. I have gotten several of these type of checks over the past few years and I believe they intentionaly make them like this so you will throw them away.

You must first wait 90 days to satisfy Vonage requirements. It then takes 6 to 10 weeks to cut the check. Sorry to break the news to you.

I also bought in August and my rebate is at the same step. I also was promised that I would get a free month for referring a someone, but that also has never materialized. Seems Vonage is good at making promises, just not meeting them.

Account opened August 3. Let's say I sent the paperwork (which I have a copy of) August 10. 90 days from then is 11/10. 10 weeks from then is January 20th.
