Post subject: BYOD Question
I know
Vonage
doesn't support BOYD (Bring your own device), however I came across something and was wandering if anyone has tried it.
When you purchase a softphone, you do get all the information you would need for your own SIP phone. Has anyone tried using their own SIP enabled phone with the softphone line?

Vonage's softphone account is listed on
www.voxilla.com
configuration wizard for Sipura devices. I don't hear it mentioned being used much. I would think a lot of that has to do with
Vonage
not being as impressive in that area as they are with thier regular service. I would think cost is more important to consumers on a softphone account rather than reliability being its not the main line.
