I'm a Vonage fan, but I think that tag line is over the top and probably just makes people mad who can't get answers to email in a reasonable time or who spend a lot time waiting for telephone support on hold.

Until Vonage can ramp up its CS staff (hire and train the 600 new employees we've heard about), it should probably add "and working hard to improve it to keep up with growing demand." It's one thing to be "dedicated" and another thing to "deliver."

Vonage is in a downward spiral it seems. If they cannot resolve their service issues and answer the phone to address customer concerns and problems they will never maintain a solid customer base.

I have been starting to have more and more service problems, their stupid Linksys ATA is a POS...last week mine stopped routing traffic, it works alright for phone calls but no network/internet traffic from computers behind it works...seems its switch died or something similar. Which wouldn't be so bad, if I didn't call and try to get in touch with them and after 2 hours!!!!! on the phone I had to give up and just make it work another way for now.

Everytime I have called them it is a 45-minute + hold time. I have been promised a free month of service for referrals that never happens. I currently also cannot make any outbound calls, and calls to them end up going to busy as soon as you select any menu option.


Come on Vonage, this isn't rocket science. This whole telephony thing was invented before you came around, you just made it cheaper and less functional...

I had problem yesterday in chicago area but I reboot my router and working fine since then

C'mon guys.

Did you not read DConnor's post about two or three above this one? Of course, you can't dial out. There is a system-wide outage, that has been posted on the dashboard and announced here.

Service seems to be back up in Indy (317). Was only out for about 1/2 an hour.
