There is hope at Vonage - at least in the forum.
With a new Vonage account installation, I was not
able to dial in or out. After 5 days of trying to
contact Vonage by phone and by eMail, I checked
this forum and found help.

A forum member named VonageBest helped me get
through the problem. He had a number of suggestions
for the problem which I then tried with Vonage.
Switching the phone from port 1 to port 2 on the
phone adapter made it all work (as well as changing account settings at Vonage I think)

If Vonage had a staff of employees with the interest
and support like VonageBest from this forum, we would
all have a better experience. Thanks to him, I now
have the service in operation. Very Happy

Well... they have vonagebest *on* their staff. Does that count? Lol

I do have to say, other than the standard D*TiVo dial-out problems, I've had a really good experience with Vonage. I'm a *litte* disappointed at the way their Caller ID works, but that's a very minor issue. But, I guess YMMV, as they say.

Thanks to ssantana and vonagebest my faith in Vonage support has been restored!! They both have helped me VERY quickly. I even was able to reach a customer service rep. via phone and only had to wait 10 minutes. The rep was very courteous and fixed my billing problem right away.

Yes, I was one of the frustrated ones who harped on their customer service, but in the past few days I've noticed some good improvements. I think Vonage is working as quickly as they can to catch up to meet the demand of their booming business surge!

Keep it up!! And thank you!!
