They should have responded sooner, but that is the truth. The ATA does not support any Voice Mail Waiting Indicator except those that listen for the stutter dial tone.

I am still trying to activate my account. Apparently someone purchased my phone adapter, activated their account, cancelled their account, then returned the adapter.

After 2 hours waiting on the phone with Indians who speak very poor english, being tossed from department to department, I was disconnected.

Another 2 hours later, a service rep told me he would correct the problem and call me back within the hour. I asked for a number to contact him if I wasn't reached and he refused to provide one. It is now a total of 24 hours later and still no call.

I will have to return my phone adapter and the 4 handsets I bought to work with it. This company has no tangible customer service and absolutely no respect for its customers. Be Warned!

I've spoken to them on numerous occasions on the telephone and had two e-mail exchanges and have been connected very promptly on each occasion. Most calls seem to be routed to a call centre in India from here in UK. That said, my equipment still doesn't work and have not got so far as getting even a dial tone let alone actually making a call after nearly a week of trying!!

I had serious issues with a LNP. They called me three times and I could only get through once. However, I badgered them with emails at all levels (including the CEO). I feel I got results from my efforts. At least something happened. I would call Qwest to ask them to get the buzz out of my line, and nothing. And because Voip is an infant technology with a technology that is a hybrid of old and new, you are likely to see some wierd replies from tech support.

Sometimes you get good techs and sometimes you get not so good. That is the nature of a call center. Plus think about how fast Vonage is growing. They are constantly hiring new people and training them, so more often than not you are going to get a newer tech. That to me is a good sign, as it shows they are getting enough revenue to expand and hire....

As for small claims court, I can't wait to see the case on Judge Judy... Lol
