...answered & sorted out in about 15 minutes.
I just got off the phone with 'em (about 6:20pm Chicago time) - everything's been great so far except for the low volume problem on the other end that a few have already reported. I called the 866 number (VONAGE-HELP) and had something on the line reasonably quickly. A brief description of the problem later, they raised the gain.
So far, so good for me, at least. Sorry to hear about those that have been waiting and waiting and waiting...
What's with the ridiculously quiet wait music? The main menu volume is a little quiet but it's still easily audible. However, the hold muzak is pretty ethereal - with the volume on my (work) phone turned all the way up, it was still pretty much inaudible for about 90% of the time. Then, when it rings as you get put through to someone, it just about takes your head off... |

did the people you were calling report that your voice wasn't loud enough, but you could hear them just fine?
I may be experiencing this, and if raising the gain would easily fix this, maybe I will try and do that...
Thanks! |

They couldn't say how my line sounded, as I was calling from work. |
