I have been trying for 6 days to move a Vonage number to a cell phone. When the cell provider attempts to make the move they say they are being rejected by Vonage because "the zip code provided is incorrect".
I have checked the bill - Vonage has the correct zip code. I know I am probably geting senile, but I have told the cell provider at least a dozen times what my zip code is, and I am pretty sure I am correct.
Can someone make a suggestion as to what I should do next? |

Leo, I have been trying to do the same thing with Vonage, and they are stonewalling me, too.
It's been over a month, so I filed a formal complaint with the FCC at fcc.gov/complaints.
You can also go to the Vonage corporate site and send a message to the Board of Directors. So far, that has gotten me reimbursement for 2 months of Vonage "service" while I'm waiting for this to be fixed.
I tried to find the addy for Kurt Rogers, head of Legal, w/o success.
I also filed a complaint with Angies List. Vonage headquarters is in NJ, so I filed a complaint with the NJ BBB, too.
I'm considering participating in a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. The atty would take it for a % of the settlement. If you're interested, contact me at cuupstcatgamild0tk0m |

You may want to try using their address and zip code. In many cases, Vonage shows Vonage, with their NJ ZIP code of 07733 as the service address for your number. |

Hi Leo, you need to list down the complete details on your account. From first name to the last detail like zip perhaps.
Or possibly you can check with your previous provider before Vonage just to make sure and ask them what your account zip was. Just to double check everything. |

Is this possible today? Or is there a special requirement? |
