Four things I would like:

Virtual numbers - when someone calls your virtual number, the system announces which line was called.

The ability to select an alternative number for caller ID when calling out. i.e. My business line number (which diverts to my Vonage line) is shown to other callers rather than my actual Vonage number. Other providers offer this.

Ability to choose your own number from a list or pay a premium for select numbers.

Fix the Caller ID time which seems to be set at GMT not BST (GMT+1).

on point 4, not sure what you mean on the caller id? do you mean the time for calls that you have made that is displayed on your dashboard? that is set to BST and should display time accurately.

if it's something, can you please clarify.

As an American I found I was unable to view your poll results without voting. So, if you want true results, subtract one request for ACR. (Sorry)

I was truly curious on what features you would like versus what I would like because I find myself falling more into the camp on mobile phone features with non-Americans than with Americans. (Still waiting for calling party pays on mobile phones for example.)

Unfortuantely I don't think you have enough votes in yet for the poll to have statistical significance. So vote! And as we say over here, "vote early, vote often".

Caller ID time:

I have a Panasonic phone which picks up the time from the network whenever a call is received. When I plug my phone into the BT network, the correct time is displayed. When I plug my phone into the Vonage network the GMT time is displayed - not the correct UK time (GMT+1).

I currently have a virtual number with another provider that diverts to my Vonage line. When someone calls this virtual number a voice prompt indicates which line they have called and I can press # to accept the call or hangup and the call diverts back to the voicemail from this provider. I am also able to switch the line off so only calls come through between 9am and 6pm.

It would be great if Vonage could offer this service. It would be handy for people who work from home, have multiple businesses or businesses located in or marketed to different areas. Other options such as different ringtones and individual voicemail for each line would also be beneficial.

re the caller display time, this comes from the Linksys router. Login to the router and set the timezone to GMT +1. CallerID time is now correct for me. (will have to change back to GMT +0 when clocks go back though)

For me, the broken outgoing Caller Display is a huge problem. Calls originating on Vonage come up on my Panasonic DECT as 'Out of Area'. Most of the out of area calls I get are unwelcome cold callers, so I'm less inclined to answer them.

Any news on when this may be fixed? I'm a new Vonage user, but this problem may be a show stopper that'll make me cancel the service.

It would be great if the web interface allowed me to save names against numbers. That way, the Dashboard and activity page could become much more useful by displaying names rather than just numbers.

If you use BT's online billing, this already has this feature and it makes checking bills much easier.
