Hello. I have noticed that there seem to be several employees of Vonage that post/monitor this forum. I was wondering if anyone has heard any truth to this post on dslreports: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,12375274~mode=flat It is showing that DND, Speed Dial, and Multiple Number Simulring (which is already there) are supposed to be coming out. I am hoping this is true. Anyone know? Thank you for your time, Ben |

That is quite depressing to hear. There are several features that I wish Vonage had. ACR and Speed dialing. I hope that these features do come out and that the person who posted on the other forum was being honest. Thank you. |

I hope to see those features also, it is just the source of the information that is far from credible. |

In a conversation I had via e-mail with tech support over a new RT31P2, I was told that DND will be released in the first half of this year. It is undergoing quality testing now.
Hope this helps. |

That would work for the ACR IF I used Windows and IF I wanted to leave a machine on all the time just for that. It would be FAR better for Vonage to impliment something on there end. It also would not do a thing for Speed Dialing.
Please do not spam this thread advertising a third party software. Thank you for your time though. |

Just an update for you guys I know for a fact that anonymous call rejection is in the works. I cannot comment as far as an eta date. You will probably see E911 put into use before this as it is a major concern for our customers.

ssantana, Are there any discussions of adding secure protocols (ie encryption) into the mix? |

I'm still hoping for distinctive ring. I think I recall being told the newer linksys units were capable of handling it. If we could get that, I could go back to leaving my fax machine on auto and stop running for my kids' phone calls if it wasn't convenient. |
