10.4.3 and same thing. Mail will play the wav but no sound is heard. Save to disk, play with VLC, Viola! sound! |

Hmm...I'm new to Vonage and haven't seen any voicemail on the website yet (I think it's cause my number is still being ported). But I have recived the emails with them. They play fine on my side.
I'm running tiger 10.4 on my mac. |

There is a bug is the Tiger Safari that might explain some of these problems. It's a caching issue. Typically, you might see this problem with a page that just spins and spins and never loads. To temporarily get rid of the problem you can Empty Cache under the Safari menu (Command-Option-E) and then reload (Command-R). Maybe these steps will help with some of the Vonage issues you are seeing.
The problem began with the new WebKit in Tiger, but it doesn't seem to be WebKit specific.
I've switched to FireFox as my regular browser because of this problem. |
