While the Vonage web site reported UPS would be delivering my Linksys router, DHL shipped it to my local USPS office, and the package was delivered by USPS. Perhaps Vonage should look at fixing this information on its web site.

No tracking information was ever available.

But, in any event, I ordered last Wednesday and got it today, on Monday. This is very quick, I wasn't expecing it until this Wednesday anyway.

I have a DSL connection and a Netgear wireless router. I put the Linksys phone adapter/router behind the Netgear router (I did not want to set up port forwarding, PPPoE, etc....esp since I will be switching to a non-DSL and non-PPPoE connection soon). I hooked up an old corded phone, waited the prerequisite five minutes for it to update its firmware (it did take about 5 minutes for it to do this).

So far, I have only called myself and left messages on voicemail, but the quality seems great. There is a little bit of fuzzy sound in the background, but this may be because of my phone (it is quite old after all). I will try plugging in a short circuit into line 2 tomorrow (PhoneNet network adapters used to come with a terminator that I think would work for this purpose). But the fuzziness is nothing that is distracting.

Just wanted to update everyone with a good success story (so far).

same here... but dhl waybill emailed me a dhl tracking number for the package, so I could track it.....

Another n00b user here - mine arrived bloody fast.

I ordered late on Friday night (well after business hours) and the router arrived on my doorstep yesterday (Tuesday). I didn't get any email with tracking info or even to say that it was on its way, but since it arrived that quickly that's no big deal.

All in all, a pretty impressive response time. Smile

ordered mine thursday night, and it came in yesterday as well. Which is kind of pitiful because it came from Ohio, which is about 16 hours from here Razz

in my experience, whenever i get a "tracking number" for a dhl->usps shipment it's a USPS delivery confirmation number. Fairly useless for tracking information. And Vonage should somehow update their web site to reflect orders that are being delivered via DHL or DHL->USPS.

But I, too, really can't complain...the router did arrive quicker than expected!

Mine arrived in 8 days UPS to my door even through the christmas season. I have never had a single problem with the RT31P2. Lol

I had the same experience as the original poster - I was a bit concerned when after a couple days my order was listed on the Vonage web site as "complete" yet UPS couldn't find my package number.

Of course when DHL/USPS delivered I could see why Smile

Sorry about that guys. We just changed shipping partners from UPS to DHL/USPS. I guess our web department has yet to update our site. Expect an update to our site in the near future.

Other than that, I want to stress I was very satisfied with the speed of delivery. DHL/USPS did a good job. It was just the info on the site. I have also been very satisfied with the service so far.
