Post subject: Outgoing calls fail: number you have dialed is invalid: O101
I've had
Vonage
for years, but this problem has only started happening in the past month or so. Sometimes, when I attempt to dial calls, I get the message "The number you have dialed is invalid." The code at the end of the message is "O101."
This happens whether I use the speed-dial feature of my handset, or I dial the digits manually, very slowly.
This has really started to become quite frustrating. At this moment, I can't seem to place
any
outgoing calls.
My ISP is Frontier FIOS (20Mb/5Mb), in the Seattle area.
ISP-provided router.
My
Vonage
adapter is the Motorola VT1005V.
Network topology is ISP Router -> Netgear gigabit switch -> VT1005V
Vonage
Voip
speed test didn't work: Just ended with a red "X" in the upper-left corner of the box (Speakeasy speed test shows 19.71/5.57).
I have tried powering the
Vonage
adapter off and on: didn't fix it.
