Forget it.
Vonage
chose to ignore customer rights, and supplant caller rights. Face it - there are times one wants to ignore inbound calls - especially repeating, annoying calls like bill collectors, salesman, and Anonymous callers.
Vonage
has no facility for this whatsoever. Not even any info as to the direction. Jezz, even Bellsouth can do this.
This is just a major oversight. I had to sign up and use it before I realized it was that lacking.
One thinks that the $10mil
Vonage
put into annoying TV commercials last month could enable such a call control module - and even keep their existing customer base.
I'm outta here - off the the closest competitor. You guys deal with this ignorance...

Well if you're truly leaving, we won't have to deal with it.

RTFM before you sign up.
Vonage
clearly states all of the available features...so it was your fault you signed up before fully informing yourself.
Caveat emptor.

Ignorance is bliss, and typically in welcome company. You should feel comfy indeed with
Vonage
and your low expectations. Caveat emptor, but the seller loses this time. Caveat plakto.
RFTM, huh? Not worth it. With a cancel anytime service, it's best to try it for yourself and see. Not even semi-gifted types like yourself can catch everything prior to launch. You can read can't you? I have a life and don't spend as much time holed up like you reading technical manuals filled with marketing gotchas and omissions. Much better to produce and find out along the way...
Already signed up w/2 others - look very promising, and with a FULL feature set unlike Vonage...

I posted this message in another thread, but it seems to be a popular "Wish List" item...
I just contacted customer care where I spoke to a Customer Service representative named "Keno." I asked him IF and WHEN ACR was going to be implemented, and he put me on hold, contacted his supervisor, came back to the call and said, "If you want to know when this will be offered, call back on Monday or Tuesday and we will have a date!"
For further confirmation I asked for the name of his supervisor, whose name is Bob Perry.
I got the entire conversation on tape.
BTW, they answered very quickly. I was not on the phone longer than 15 minutes.

Don't forget to call Bob Perry on Monday, and more importantly, don't forget to let us know what the outcome of this is.
