Just bought a VTECH phone CS6229-2. After I make a regular outgoing phone call, my voicemail indicator starts blinking on my phone. I am aware of the CLR Voicemail option but I assume I shouldn't be expected to clear my voicemail after making outgoing call, especially since I don't have voicemail messages to begin with.

Please let me know how to fix this before I return this phone to the store.

Just to add to my previous message, I turned answering machine off in options and still, after I make an outgoing call, and hang up, the voicemail indicator starts blinking as if I have voicemail. Please tell me that there is a solution to this. Otherwise this will be the first and last vtech phone I'll ever buy.
