VDV22 vs VDV21...Any difference?

I see that Vonage has switched to the new VDV22 adapter. Are there any performance or functional differences between this new model and the VDV21? Or are they the same?

Bump

Looking for anyone with VDV22 experience. Have had numerous issues recently with my VDV21 and I wonder if going to new adapter would help.

I had the VDV21 for about 3 years without any problems. Due to wear and tear, the buttons worn out and Vonage gave me a free replacement and upgrade to VDV22.

The VDV22 is working ok functionally, but I still have a problem. It seems the date and time information is not being sent to the handset properly by the VDV22 for in-coming calls.. I see crazy times on my handset. So, it's very difficult if I come back home and want to screen my calls.

The VDV21 has a caller-id panel with an lcd display which shows the calls and their times neatly. This has been removed in the VDV22 - and I really miss this feature.

Thanks for the info on the VDV22. I dont understand why they would have got rid of the LCD display. but in general I've had issues with VDV21 cutting out during calls. I've tried all the different configurations, including connecting the Vonage adapter directly to my internet connection. However I still receive issues with audio cutouts. I was hoping the VDV22 had improvements in this area. I didn't realize that Vonage would send you a new one if you were having issues with your current one. Maybe I need to complain enough until they send me one. Smile
