My fiancee is required to upload info to her employer's server everyday but now, with the Blaster worm, she is unable to do so. Her employer told her Comcas must be blocking Port 500 and she should use her proprietary dial-up connection. She called Comcast who said they must have blocked Port 500 (although the guy was just assuming) and that he didn't know when it would be free. She is able to get online using Comcast just fine.

My question is, since she can get online, why can't she contact the company server? Is there a way around Comcast's block? Finally, if she has to use her dial-up tom communicate, will Vonage support it?

Have no clue as to why it won't allow her to get to the company server but Vonage will not work over a dialup connection.

Thanks for you responses, however as it turns, we didn't have to see if Vonage will support dial-up. After the broadband connection not allowing the upload and being told by Comcast and her employer that she is screwed, it worked last night. I'm beginning to think the people you deal with on these things have absolutely NO idea what they are talking about. Crossing my fingers it doesn't block the upload again!
