I sang that tune once or twice and now my 22 month-old boy sings that once in a while for no reason |

Wow, you people like the music on the Vonage commercial? I have to be honest... it is the most annoying song I have ever heard in my life. I like Vonage, but their marketing team seriously needs to rethink the soundtrack for that commercial. It does not make me think favorable thoughts about Vonage. I actually get mad when the commercial comes on because I have to run and grab the remote to mute the television. I am begging you Vonage, please discontinue that commercial or change the song that goes with it. I do not know how anyone could listen to it voluntarily.
GardRailz, do your friends a favor and keep that song off your voicemail |

Two things I don't understand:
1. How can you not like the song. It is catchy and goes well with the content of the commericals...
2. Why do you have to run and get the remote. Don't you already have it in hand when watching TV, or don't you control the "scepter of power" in your household? |

1. How do I not like that song? For starters the song is more noise than actual music. The tone of the persons voice "woo hooing" is performed in a key that is very unsettling. The song is very monotinous. Have you ever sat in a quiet room and listened a monotinous annoying sound (like someone tapping their foot really loud), then you reach a point where you cannot stand it anymore? You do the logical thing and say to the person, "Can you please stop doing that?" That is how I feel when that attrocious commercial comes on. I hear it, and I am like, when is this "woo hooing" going to end? Make it stop! Make it stop!
2. I am usually doing something else and the television is on in the background. Sometimes I have to run and get the remote, sometimes I already have it in my hand. It depends. All I know is that commercial is on way too much.
RikMar67, let me guess, you love these two songs also, "The Macharena", and "who let the dogs out". Both songs are in the same category as the "woo hoo" song. All three of these songs have an unacceptable level of repetition. |

It's kind of catchy like the old Yahoo! commercials that used to come out. Yahoooooooooo! WooHoo, Hoo Hoo Hoo. It's just advertising..and eveyone is entitled to their opinion. There's probably an entire forum somewhere in cyberspace for TV commercials that people like or dislike. |

We love this music! One day last week, while running a thousand errands with three of us in the car, we were all singing it as we dashed around. Very funny. That having been said -- There is a Vonage forum?! What are you people doing over here? I feel like I have stepped into a parallel universe. eesh, with emoticons. I am going back to blogger. blackbird17.blogspot.com |
