Post subject: Incoming callers drop after 2 or 3 seconds
Our latest
Vonage
issue as of the past few weeks: We can make outgoing calls just fine. Incoming calls are the issue. 98% of the time, an incoming call will ring.. you can answer and say "hello" and the caller usually has time to say "Hello" back and 2 or 3 other words and then there is dead silence. The callers can hear me- but i get nothing but silence on their end.
I am getting frustrated because we have to call everyone back, and have missed important calls. I'm trying to be patient, but I'm growing tired of the constant problems we've had with
Vonage
over the past 2 years. I'm about ready to go with someone else. Can anyone please give me suggestions on how to remedy this problem or how to find out if it is in fact something with our phone line, or something with the
Vonage
device?

One of two things is my guess:
A bad phone port (try changing your port . . . you will need to change the setting via the
Vonage
web site and physically change it on the back of the
Vonage
device) or you have had a change in internet quality. My bet is the first.
