I'm soon to be on Vonage and Road Runner. We'll see how it goes. |

I am on Road Runner out of Rochester, NY and it works great. Only problem was with the RT31P2 Router/Phone adapter all in one thing. It crapped out after about a month and Vonage told me it was my cable company and the modem they issue. They tried selling me a Motorola Surfboard and I said to hell with it and returned it and got a seperate router and the pap2 phone adapter and it works fine, even with the cable modem they wanted me to replace. |

I have had constant problems and run around from both Vonage and RR customer service. Each blames the other for the issue of very heavy static on the line. I cannot hear the person on the other line. More and more it appears to be pointing to the Vonage connection as my internet is working fine as always. I live in Queens, NY so the Hudson Valley problem is not my issue. Please help as my phone is key to me - I am pregnant and on bed rest. |

I'm using Midsouth RR with Vonage w/o any problems. They offer their own Voip service but I use Vonage. |

I have had RoadRunner Eastern Carolina for 4 years it works perfectly, very reliable, download speed = 4.76 MBPS Upload speed = 3.65 Kbps. Vonage works perfectly.. Now if I could only have my local phone number all would be very well. |

No problems worth mentioning here for nearly three years. I have a Vonage voice and fax line and another Voip voice service for free international calls. RoadRunner is my cable internet provider. My roommate (and sister) has ported her local number--which she has had for about twenty years--from SBC to Vonage about six months ago and, of course, saves a bundle of cash. BTW, she uses her phone a LOT! I do recall maybe a dropped call occasionally, but very, very rarely. |

I have been using RR and Vonage for 9 months now. The service up to 1 month ago has been fine. Certain phone numbers in Canada I have not been able to call. Vonage has gave me the run around for a month. I also have a problem when I sometimes call a cell phone it gives another phone number as the call ID. I have also been back and forth with road runner on this. Others I know have had the same problem. I think the Vonage service is ok when it works but if you need tech support thats another issue. Good Luck, and they have NEVER called me back when they say. |
