Post subject: 18185.co.uk & 1899.com with Vonage
Hi. Does anyone know if you can use 18185 or 1899 with
Vonage
, to receive cheaper mobile calls? I've just tried registering my
Vonage
number with my 18185.co.uk account and it wouldn't allow the number.
Any other third party carriers that are compatible with
Vonage
, to route mobile calls through?

Even worse - if you move away from
Vonage
with your Vonage-issued number (like I did a couple of years ago) it will NEVER work with these services as the number is associated to a
Voip
service even when ported to a fixed-line provider such as BT.
