Well, it depends on the software you use to dial, but it is the AT command string that needs to be changed.
Perhap you can just type "AT n0 s37=9" before you dial and it will take effect. Try it out.

If Vonage adds a t.38 upgrade to there system I heard it might help. I just can't get them to say when and if this is coming. Any heard different? |

the IT support desk at my wife's company are such baffoons... when I went to add this INITsetting, all the options were greyed out since it's an admin option... and they're telling me that to make any special updates, it is close to impossible, but they are escalating.. i just wish i had a backdoor so I can add this setting myself!! so close.. any ideas would be appreciated!! thanks |

I've tried putting in the "AT n0 s37=9" string in several places and reducing modem speeds. I can't spot a modem intiatation string precisely though. I'm running Windows 2000. Nothing works (especially calling or emailing Vonage for help)! I wish my ISP (Cox) would allow limited "Open Port 25" access! |

I'm using the standard Windows 2000 Dial-up network connections. |
