Is it possible to use multiple Voip gateways for the same account/phone number ?
I want to use the same phone number in multiple locations.
For example, when someone dials me, 4 PSTN phones (that are attached to said gateways) ring in 4 locations.
When I dial out, I want it to dial out of that same account.
Does Vonage allow this ? |

NO. You can only have 1 adapter on one account at a time. You can have multiple adapters with multiple lines and have them all forward to the same number but you cannot call out that way. When you call out, you get the number of the adapter you are calling from. |

Partially correct. You can have multiple "adapters" (devices) on an account. If you had 4 lines with your Vonage account, you'd need at the very least 2 devices (2 lines per device).
However to answer the original question, no. One line cannot be shared amongst devices for either incoming or outgoing calls. You can try to setup forwarding or maybe call hunt / simulring but not share 1 line amongst X devices. |
