Well, I have good news. Our number transfer was completed today. Below are the specifics:

I called Customer Service about 2 weeks ago on an unrelated matter and the rep volunteered the info that we were on schedule for transfer on 1-27-05. I figured he meant that if it didn't happen by then they would look into why. I called yesterday (1-26-05) to find out what was going on and was told it would happen today. I figured the guy was just trying to make me feel good! I'm glad because I didn't want another $60 plus phone bill from Verizon.
