I have forwarding setup to ring my Vonage phone and cell phone at the same time. I also have v-mail disabled so it'll go to my cell v-mail. I have the 'network availability number' set to my cell phone as well.
Every once and a while my house phone and cell phone will ring exactly once then stop. When I try to answer the house phone all I get is a dial tone. Callers report hearing exactly one ring then my cell phone v-mail greeting.
This doesn't happen very often, but when it does happen I am able to make outgoing calls so I know the TA is online and working fine.
Something is causing my cell phone (Verizon) v-mail to pick up after only one ring. My cell phone works fine at those times and I don't have any problems receiving or making calls on it.
I do have my linksys TA behind my netgear router at the moment. I'll play with putting it in front this weekend but I've never had a problem with call quality so I've not been that interested in the QoS stuff.
