Post subject: So What's the latest re: Dish Network and Vonage compat. ?
Pardon if this is discussed in detail somewherre else, but I did a search and there seems to be a lot of activity but most was over a year old.
I have a VIP-722 DVR and enjoy the convenience of the caller ID showing on the screen. will this still happen if I sign up for
Vonage
? Also, Dish claims that they will charge $6 if you disconnect your phone line, and you also will need to pay extra if you order movies by phone rather than remote (which requires phone connection).
some of the posts of 2009 vintige report that Dish/Vonage compatibility was improving. What's the latest? Reference to a recent thread is fine if this issue is already discussed and settled
Thanks

Post subject: Works with Dish 722
I have subsequently installed
Vonage
and it Works with Dish 722. I still get caller ID and am not charged anything extra from Dish.
