I don't know if anybody else changed their device, but I decided not to change it again 'cause the features of this router are very good.
So today in my email I received a request to be part of Vonage Continuous Improvement Program through https://www.surveymonkey.com/ . It is voluntary, but what really surprised me was that they also said they would be upgrading the firmware for the Motorola VT2542 in 2 weeks. I don't know if I want to cry or be furious for taking approximately 4 or 5 years to resolve this issue ( the device would keep reset to default settings after a blackout o disconnecting the power supply from the device) which should have been solved much more promptly. Anyway I'm glad this is happening, but also would like to know if anyone else is still using this same device, also did you get this message from Vonage.
Vonage admins, is there any away to confirm, from your side, this message is legit?! please!! |

I just got an email saying that I should backup my router settings before August 1st due to the new firmware roll out!!
