One more point, I cannot access the v-configure.com page, the error received is something is wrong with your network setup, etc.


Thanks, this problem is constant throughout the day so I need to diagnose.
Started about 6 months ago, on a off, now it is getting worse. The DSL
modem I have is a Westell B90. I have experienced where the internet is up
and working but the phones do not work (fast busy) or the phones work but I
can't hear the other person on the line but they can hear me. I do not
believe the modem is the problem at that time.
I have been in the IT industry for 23 years so I know how hard this is,
trying to diagnose over email, phone. Rest assured I confirm cables are
good, reset, all lights are lit before I make calls. I can't confirm the
problem is even when I access internet while on the phone, that is how
inconsistent the error is.
Realize that I have 3 items I am dealing with, DSL Modem, Router and Vonage
devices and am going through each one carefully to make sure they are work.

You are saying that the V-Portals having the same IP address is OK?
And when this error arises, do you want a screen shot of IP config via a DOS
window during the error period?

I am looking at my device settings now, and my network is 192.168.1.xxx
One device is 192.168.1.104 and the other is 192.168.15.1, the latter it
would seem is not even in my network "tree"

Bit more information required. Also to explain the inconsistent IP addresses, the 192.168.1.x is the WAN IP of that device, 192.168.15.1 is the LAN IP of most Vonage devices. Please post your network setup i.e. Modem (Model) -> Vonage Device (Model) -> Vonage Device (Model ) -> Router (Model) "Should" be your network setup. Also include your ISP and any changes you have made to the network config of any of the devices.

192.168.15.1 must be the WAN side of your wireless router. That should be the set up and this should be working for you.
