Hoping someone can help me...

I have FioS internet through Verizon.
I have an Actiontec router and two computers hard wired via LAN to the router.
My Vonage setup is straight-forward. Blue LAN cord from router to Vonage. LAN cord from Vonage to one of my PCs.
Phone works perfectly and PCs have perfect connectivity to outside world.
I also have 3 wireless devices that connect perfectly to my home network via the Actiontec router.

Here is the problem.
One of my PCs hooked into this network cannot be seen by any wireless device nor the other PC on the network.

The IP address and default gateway for this PC hooked into the Vonage box is completely different than that of my home network.
My home network IP is 192.168.1.*

The PC in question has an IP of 192.168.15.*

I'm guessing the reason it has "15" is it is getting it from the Vonage DHCP it is connected through.

If this is the case, can I CHANGE this somehow so everything is either getting their marching orders through the same DHCP server or is there a way to force the Vonage unit to assimilate with my home network??

Basically what this boils down to is because Vonage is being used, I now have sacrificed a computer on my network and can no longer access it via my network.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Vonage device is also a router. When there is a router between two parts of your network, you have created two network segments. There are at least two possible solutions:

You could plug all of your computers, and the WAN side of your Vonage device into your Actiontec router (i.e. don't plug anything into the LAN side of the Vonage device). You would lose the ability to administer the Vonage device from your web browser, but if the device is doing what you want, you'll probably never need this capability.

You could put all of the PCs behind the Vonage device (you'll need a hub or ethernet switch). All of the PCs will then have IP addresses assigned by the Vonage device (you won't need the Actiontec) and will be able to communicate with each other. This has the advantage that the Vonage device will be better able to maintain quality of service by prioritizing voice traffic (but with FiOS, you probably have bandwidth to spare, so this is not important).

There may be other solutions -- perhaps the Vonage device can be put into something resembling bridge mode, as opposed to router mode.

Oh wow how simple but EXACTLY what I needed to do!

I just unplugged my PC from the Vonage box and viola!

The solution is called Subnetting. Log into both your router and the Vonage and change your subnet to 255.255.0.0 and all the computers will be able to speak to eachother.

Yeah, that will work too. Or just reserve an IP address at the DHCP pool vor Vonage ATA at the router side.
