i have had Vonage for years and it has always been pretty trouble free. well just last week my fiancee noticed that when she calls her mother, Vonage almost always says "all lines are currently busy. Please Try again Later."

but if she calls from her cell phone or our Time Warner Home Phone line - it goes right through every single time like it should.

why the heck woudl Vonage be giving us this message but only when calling this specific number?

Probably nobody is responding because there is not enough information given.

What is the destination number (no need to include the full number, just share with us the area code and exchange)? What carrier provides service to that number? Do you have the same problem when calling other numbers in the same exchange? Do you have the same problem when calling other subscribers of the same carrier? For how long has this problem occurred? Did it work before and then stop, or has it never worked?

Any response without the above info is based only on pure guesswork. Actually, any response with that info is based on little more than guesswork, but answering them may point you/us in a useful direction.

Have you asked Vonage for assistance with this issue?

thanks for the reply - here is some additional information...
the number i am having trouble calling is:
518-537-xxxx

I don't know what carrier providers her service.

This problem has occurred for at least a month or two - we haven't tried calling that number from my Vonage line before then so i cant say if it occurred before then.

I do not call anyone else at that that exchange so i don't know if its a problem with others from that exchange.

so i guess unfortunately the only additional information I can provide is the area code and exchange.
