@VonTechMgr yes tracert to tftp.vonage.net works fine.
But I dont have firewall enabled anywhere in my network, what additional steps should I take to reconfigure the ports to allow SIP |

I don't think it is possible to run Windows Internet Connection Sharing without the Windows Firewall enabled. But I could be wrong since I don't really use Microsoft products. Are you sure the Windows Firewall is not enabled?
A more advanced approach would be to run Wireshark on PC1 which would be my first step in troubleshooting something of this sort. This is only if your technical ability is at thi level or your willing to learn. The first thing to do is disconnect PC2 from the Vonage TA since you want to limit which packets are coming through that interface. Next you want to set up Wireshark to capture packets in real time on the Interface name which is connected to the Vonage TA. You should see packets coming in.
Now if you were to do the same thing on the interface name that PC1 uses as a WAN port to connect to the Internet, you should see one of 2 things. Packets being sent to Vonage but nothing coming back or packets being sent and received from Vonage. If you see 2 way traffic on the the WAN of PC1 but only packets going out on the LAN of PC1, then it is a Firewall in PC1.
Very hard to describe how to set this up at a basic level and is why some knowledge of packet sniffing and networking is really needed to better understand what the goal is here. But this will pinpoint the point of failure based upon the results. |

as requested the "correct" link
The Image is just a screenshot of the network adapters configuration properties. I found this using google searching for ICS firewall.
I reiterate, a wireless switch would be a better solution here.
P.S. I am a mere mortal compared to VonTechMgr. |
