Hi everyone! I've been a Vonage customer for almost five years now and would recommend Vonage to everyone as I have saved hundreds of pounds compared to sticking with BT or using the phone that comes with my Virgin Media package. I am still using the original Linksys RT31P2 adapter I got when I signed up and was wondering if its worth upgrading to the flashy looking VDV21 adapter... any thoughts? |

If your device is working great, I wouldn't change. There have been some reports of problems with the VDV21, although they seem pretty isolated. |

As an often-heard yankee expression puts it: if it aint broke, don't fix it. |

I've often thought about it. but the new devices look no better than my rt31p2.
Currently my rt31p2 is interfacing with the cable modem. I'm buying a new router with voice QOS and will put that router interfacing with the cable modem; then the rt31p2 interfacing with the new router. This way the rather old Vonage rt31p2 is no longer a weak link for all my internet connections. Hope it works :/ |
