So the stepdad decided to get a Vonage VDV21 and set it up as the directions said to:
Internet -> D-Link DCM-202 Cable Modem -> Vonage VDV21 -> Airport Extreme
...and while the Macs in the house, 4 total, all varying models, are connecting to the Airport Extreme and receiving the the internet just fine, the one PC in the house, which has a Belkin USB Wireless G V5D7050 v5 adapter, is seeing and connecting to the Airport Extreme but not getting the internet from it.
I've tried rebooting/cycling everything- modem, routers and computers- but that did nothing. I downloaded the current drivers for the Belkin USB adapter onto a USB drive so that I could install them on my PC but that didn't do anything either.
I'm completely boggled as to why all the Macs are surfing the web just fine but my PC isn't even though it's connecting to the router itself just fine. It's my day off and I'd just like to get some gaming in so if anyone could give me any ideas as to how to fix this, my day off will not be lost in vain. Thanks in advance! |

Might be a DNS issue on the PC. Can you open google using ip address 66.249.80.104 but not using the Fully qualified domain name google.com? You mentioned Gaming. Was the PC using a static IP? Was Port Mapping set up on the Airport Extreme for the PC? |
