Post subject: No voice with DSL
I have recently connected my
Vonage
V-portal (Model: VDV21-VD) to AT&T 's DSL (Speedstream 4100 modem). I can hear dial tone, and can make calls (it rings on the other line) but nobody can hear anything. I tried changing the bandwidth to 90kbps (maximum setting) , but it still did not help. I am not surfing internet or using the bandwidth anyway while making calls, but can't hear anything... help is appreciated
I tried calling the customer support atleast 10times and after holding for 15mins it automatically gets disconnected... nice !!

post the results of a
Voip
speed test and also the items requested in the sticky at the top of this forum. (What to post when having technical difficulties with
Vonage
)
You will have to do a search for one as the one on this site gives an error.
The
Voip
speed test may point where the problem lies.
