For at least a couple of weeks I've been unable to access the Vonage web pages, both in the UK and US. If I run a TRACERT my connections time-out at 'vonage-hold.edge5.newyork1....' for the uk website and 'vonage-hold.hsa2.philadelphia2....' for the US web site.

I've contacted support and eventually they admitted there is a problem their end somewhere. This has been going on for at least a couple of weeks and means I cannot access my admin pages.

Any one else having these problems at present ?
Maybe some-one from Vonage can offer an explanation if they read this forum ?

Yes, i had the same prob i was unable to access the Vonage web page for the last 2 weeks, i was useing Sky broadband but have moved over to Virgin cable and all is ok now, so i dont know what it is.

I was with Virgin up until Christmas and had no problems. I'm now using Orange and initially thought they were blocking my access until I ran the TRACERT and found it's actually reaching Vonage and being blocked there. I'm pretty sure access was Ok when I first changed to Orange, it's only the past two or three weeks I've had this problem.

I suspect it's a problem with particular ISPs as I can gain access to the Vonage web sites by using one of the free SSL proxy sites, which encrypts my connection, masks my activity from my ISP and my ISP from Vonage. The problem with this is it's incredibly sloooooooooooow !

Why would Vonage have a problem with connections from particular ISPs ?

You could email the trace route results to the contact listed along with your explanation.

You may also try flushing dns cache and make sure the name servers (DNS) that you are using on any gateways, routers and your computer are correct from your internet service provider.
