I just got the Vonage service. Everything seems to be working great but I have a question. I have the system set up so that I have the main Vonage number in the U.S. and a virtual number in the UK (so that a good friend is able to call me). My question is, if I turn call forwarding on (to my cell phone) will it ring? Secondly, if I am forwarding a call from the UK, will I be charged alot? Or will it be free as if he was calling normally (without forwarding). I hope that is clear. Thanks again, John |

If I understand, your question. All incoming calls are free to you, based on your plan, forwarded calls are the same as if you dialed them. If you are on a metered plan (500 outgoing mins), then all forwarded calls are charged against the 500 min. If on the unlimited plan, it would be at no charge. The virtual number from the UK is considered incoming call. Hope this makes sense. |
