Post subject: Small business with 2 line phone system
We are a small business and recently purchased 2
Vonage
systems to work with our 2 line phone system made by At&t (sorry I am not sure of the model number) We are looking to be able to keep our land line for our customers in the local calling area but need to be able to plug in the
Vonage
box to our phone system.
When I tried to plug both the
Vonage
box and the land line in at the same time there was carry over from the
Vonage
line to the 2nd line i was using as my land line. From what I've been reading I need a 2 conductor line for both the
Vonage
and the land line to use to avoid this carry over sound from one line to the next. Where do I locate this cable? other topics I have read on here state I could use a splitter but I am do not know what these would look like.
Any help would be appreciated. We have high call volume which requires a lot of long distance usage so
Vonage
gave us the best calling rate. I would hate to have to discontinue service before I start.
