I have had intermittent issues with getting this HP machine to work with Vonage. It'll work for a few weeks and then stop working. Support is able to trouble shoot but that takes about an hour on the phone. They keep talking about lowering the baud rate but this machine doesn't allow me to do it. A few questions:
Is there a fax machine that works with no trouble? Should I just get a old fashioned phone line?

Some folks manage to get reliable fax service, others don't. I was in the latter category.
But I need fax less and less everyday. An internet fax service and a scanner fills in the gap much more economically than a POTS line.
