Vonage Softphone Issues with Windows 7

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and my Softphone's audio stopped working. I tried un-installing and re-installing the softphone but it did not work. I tried the windows 7 "compatability" mode and that also did not remove the problem. Vonage has responded to my email that "they have not tested the Softphone compatibility with Windows 7". Has anyone faced this problem and were they able to overcome this issue. Please help.

I have been running the Vonage softphone using Windows 7 and have had a host of problems (mostly that the other party cannot or can barely hear me). I'm not sure that my difficulties are the same as yours as you only mention that 'it did not work'. I do suspect that the (very old) softphone software is incompatible with Windows 7.

wondering what the cause for poor outbound quality? Is there a fix? What is the cause.

I too had the same issue,so i have updated online.Then initially the issue got resolved instantly,but again I am getting the same issue.Looking for someone
