Hi all
I've had a problem since about 12pm today. If I try to make a call I get "Lines are busy, please try later. 0106" and if anyone tries to call me they just get an engaged signal.
I wasted 35 minutes waiting on vonage helpline. Evil or Very Mad

Anyone with a similar problem?

Thanks

Tim

Apparently this is a UK wide problem. Vonage are working on it. I have suggested that in future they should post a servive message on their website but this does not seem to have occured to them. Incidentally I made 2 attempts and waited a total of 1hr 20 to get through.i

generally, if you have to wait more than a couple of minutes to get through, they have a major system problem. I sent them an email and got a response within a couple of minutes confirming what you say in that they know they have a problem.

Hi

Thanks for the responses!

I did the same thing and posted a support request through the online pages and got a reply saying that the whole UK is affected. I bet someone's got a stress headache trying to fix it!

Thanks again. Very Happy

I've still got no response what so ever from Vonage in any shape or form. I assume there are easier alternative ways of making outgoing calls but when all your business is dependent on the incoming calls through a Vonage number, it is vital.

The worst thing is that there is no public announcement on the problem or the ETA resolution time.

They are quite happy when they are taking the money but nowhere to be seen when everything goes tits up.

I am not impressed and am already looking for alternatives.

Not impressed :X

I have had issues since this morning ... a few hours later. And nothing. Catastrophy management is coming to the fore and it looks like Vonage may be outed for Skype. Anyone got any other companies to use? Simply can't have this happen ever again.

I saw your post, made a call and halfway through it cut me off. Now I'm getting "Lines are temporarily busy" again. I despair.

They must still be draggin it back to life. I've made a couple of calls, the last one 2 mins ago without problem, although each call was less than 2 minutes.

Mine was the start of a long call to the DVLA. I'd just got past the "press 1 to do this, press 2 to do that" bit and identified myself to a human when they pulled the plug on me. Sigh. Too late now, I'll start again in the morning.
