Getting a server to work with the Motorola VT1005V

Has anyone been successful in configuring the Motorola box to allow a PC webserver to be accessable over the internet? I have seen a few threads on this but so far no real good answers...

Internet <--> Mot Cable Modem <--> Mot VT1005V <--> LinkSYS Router <--> PC with Webserver and Windows Media Server

I have been able to get everything to work with the VT1005V removed. Somehow I geuss I need to get the VT1005V to froward port 80 and 9090 to my LinkSYS router and then my LinkSYS router needs to forward ports 80 and 9090 to my PC's IP Address. (i think?)

can you set it up like this:
Internet <--> Mot Cable Modem <--> LinkSYS Router <--> Mot VT1005V and PC plugged into linksys.

Or ask Vonage to send you a Linksys RT31P2 in place of your VT1005. So I did and I can serve web pages and keep QoS.

why exactly can't you just forward the port of the web server?
