Folks, When I generate a call using the click2call software, and I pick up the call from my Vonage phone, everything works fine. But, instead of picking up from the direct Vonage phone, if I pick it up from one of the SimuRing forwarded phones, the call immediately disconnects. Is this a known issue. Thanks -Goobly |

You cannot use click2call with your call forwarding or simulring numbers. |

I see. Do you know why there is such a restriction, and can it be fixed? |

It is not a restriction and is working as designed so there is nothing to fix. The number that is answered must be the Vonage number from your account that is in the Click to Call drop down when you initiate the call in order for the call to properly be authenticated. Any other number that is answered will not provide expected authentication and therefore the call transfer to the number being called will not take place.
In addition, the Click to Call application is legacy. It has no further development plans and has not been changed since about 2005. It is an As-Is feature. |
