Post subject: "telephone line is not provisioned for use..."
Hi guys! I need some help here with my
Vonage
router.
I've been given a replacement
Vonage
adaptor (D-Link VTA-VD), since the original one that's been sent to me was proven to be defective, and I've checked all installations and connections thoroughly but each time I pick up the phone the message I get is this: "Telephone line is not provisioned for use. Please try the other line." I've double-checked all of them and tried to replace all cables and transfered the connections to the other ports on my modem and routers but I still get the same message. Anybody out there who knows to to solve this? Please let me know how ASAP Thanks!

Try unplugging the power to your cable modem or dsl connection and leave it disconnected for at least a couple of minutes. Doing this will allow the modem to refresh the MAC address and learn the address of the
Vonage
router.

You may need a call into
Vonage
customer care to swap the MAC that is tied to your account.
