If I purchase the Linksys Vonage Phone Adapter Model: PAP2 and I plug one phone into the the line 1 of the PAP, will the rest of my house pick up the Voip or do I need to run phone lines.
Or maybe I am misunderstanding this
Do I run a phone cord from Line 1 or Line 2 to an existing jack in the house to make it work throughout the house? After I disconnect the POTS line out side of course. I would like to use my POTS line until my number is switched over, so I will basically unhook it and run a test and then run the POTS again.

Will this work?

Yes, that will work. All the jacks in the house run outside to the box, so if you plug into one jack, you are effectively connecting to all of them. Just be sure to disconnect the line running to the world, and label it as DO NOT RECONNECT.
